Director and Founder
Byrne & Co. was established in 2012 by JJ Byrne FCCA. In addition to JJ, a team of 12 highly qualified staff work together to deliver a full range of accountancy and consultation services from our offices in Kilkenny City.
We provide a personal service to clients tailored to suit their individual requirements, ensuring that problems and opportunities identified during the course of an assignment are analysed and reviewed, having regard to the business needs and objectives of the client.

JJ Byrne - A Proven Record of Delivering for Clients
Our Founder and Director, JJ Byrne, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a Diploma in Insolvency & Corporate Restructuring from the Law Society of Ireland.
With over twenty years of experience in accountancy practice, JJ also has extensive experience in advising clients in the manufacturing, agricultural, retail, property, and healthcare sectors with a proven track record in delivering value for clients.
JJ is actively engaged in the re organisation and restructuring for clients requiring negotiated settlements with financial institutions in addition to the recurring accounting, tax and investment advice.
JJ has more than 15 years experience as Audit Manager which included audit, insolvency and corporate finance assignments in Ireland.
